Image Resizer

Resize JPG, PNG, and WebP images directly in your browser. The image stays on your device, the resized copy is created locally, and nothing is uploaded or stored in server memory.

Exact dimensions use the width and height exactly as entered. Box mode treats them as max bounds, then either fits the whole image inside them or fills the box by cropping.

Keep original format preserves JPG, PNG, or WebP when possible. PNG keeps transparency, while JPEG replaces transparency with a solid background.

What this tool does

Create a resized copy of your image with exact dimensions, fit it inside a max-width/max-height box, or fill a target box for thumbnails and banners.

Why it is private

The resize process runs entirely in your browser. Your image is never uploaded, never sent to the server, and never stored in server memory.

What it is useful for

  • Making images smaller for email, websites, and form uploads.
  • Preparing lower-resolution copies while keeping the original file untouched.
  • Changing format at the same time if you want JPG, PNG, or WebP output.

Helpful note

The downloaded file is a freshly created copy. That usually means old image metadata does not come along with the resized result.
